Welcome all Woosters

If you are not yet a selected Wooster, please click HERE for information.

Welcome dear Brothers (and Welcome to All Woosters)

My respected friends, finally after so many long years our project is complete.  The mandate from our founders so long ago requires that we move forward, and while we still respect and cherish our anonymity in the traditions of our cause, we may now gather freely across boundaries of distance and language and all barriers of culture and even time.

Through these seventeen generations, Father to Son, Mother to Daughter, Friend to Friend, we have spread the knowledge and the sacred commitment to the Wooster pledge.

1.  I am a Wooster, now and always.

2.  The honor of my family is my pledge, the honor of life is my quest, the honor of God is my guiding spirit.

About the Wooster:

I AM A WOOSTER
We tell the truth, we stand for justice, we will never engage in violence except to place ourselves between violence and a victim of violence.  We can and will lay down our lives for one sacred purpose, to restore peace.
We believe that truth conquers fear, that bullies respect bravery, and that children, women, men and animals alike should be defended from cruelty, misuse or harm.
We pay no dues or fees, we never gather to celebrate our achievements. Each member is selected by another, and must answer 10 questions honestly.
I am now the president, which means I am entrusted with our coat of arms, and the only written record of our membership.
This is the greatest honor in my life, as my Father was a Wooster, as was our teacher - a great man and leader of faith, Carl Zehr.   Carl Zehr was the President of the Woosters in the 1980s, and even in the dark days that followed my injury and divorce, addiction and incarceration - he encouraged me, and never quit reminding me that a Wooster endures life gladly, ever seeking the next opportunity to be of service to his fellow man.
